How it works

1. Post your listing

   Tell us what you need moving, where it needs to be collected from and delivered to, and your preferred moving date. Add photos and any special requirements to help transporters provide accurate quotes.

2. Receive quotes from approved transporters

   Approved transporters can send quotes for your job. Each quote includes the price, transporter details, and a short message, so you can compare your options and ask questions before making a decision.

3. Choose your transporter

   Accept the quote that best suits your needs. Before confirming, you’ll see exactly how payment works for that transporter, so you know what is payable now and what is payable later.

4. Secure your booking

   Depending on the transporter and service type, one of the following payment options will apply:

   • Marketplace Booking — Pay a booking deposit to ChooseYourVan to secure the job. The remaining balance is paid directly to the transporter before collection, on collection, or after delivery, depending on the payment terms agreed with them.
   • ChooseYourVan Direct Service — For selected transporters operating under the ChooseYourVan network, the full transport charge is paid securely to ChooseYourVan when booking. We then release payment to the transporter once the delivery has been successfully completed.

   Whichever payment option applies, the payment terms will be shown clearly before you confirm your booking.

5. Stay updated

   After booking, your contact details are shared with the transporter so they can arrange collection and delivery directly with you. You can also use your message thread to keep track of important updates.

6. Leave a review

   Once your delivery is complete, leave a review to help other customers choose reliable transporters with confidence.
